Background - Chris Wood, in charge of the technical and
mechanical side of the business, has been involved in the motor
trade for over 30 years, specialising in Volvo cars for many of
them. Heather Wood oversees the administrative and customer-facing
side of things.
Before becoming established in East Anglia, they lived with their
4 children in Berkshire, deciding to move the family to Norfolk
for a better quality of life. Chris had seen, while working for
large main dealers, that there was a potential for an independent
garage to be run along similar, but more personal and flexible
lines - thus Chris Wood Vehicle Services Ltd (originally Chris
Wood Vehicle Service & Repair) was conceived.
Starting with just three people in one workshop, Chris and Heather
have flourished and expanded the company - assisted by a very
able team of ten people in eight workshops and their own successful
blend of technical expertise and customer-led services. The company
are members of the Fakenham & District Chamber of Trade &
Commerce.
Summary - We aim to make our business a one-stop shop
for all our customers' automotive requirements - a complete service
for the maintenance and day-to-day running of their vehicles.
