KEY FEATURES - SPOTLIGHTING OUR SERVICES

TYRE BALANCING  Exhausts & Tyres - Our dedicated tyre and exhaust bay allows us to carry a wide range of Timax, Bosal and genuine Volvo systems. We stock a wide range of tyres for many vehicle makes and models. Most of the well-known brands are usually available with three deliveries a day.

Phone us for a competitive quotation for new tyres, wheel balancing and alignment - which all come with our usual "free extras"..... quality workmanship and courteous service!

Valeting - A range of valeting services are available, at various levels from a 'wash & hoover', through to our 'basic' and premium' valet services up to a complete 'renovation' which also includes an engine bay clean. Prices are based on vehicle size and condition, so call in for an individual quotation.

We use Autoglym Professional Valeting products, which are also used in car factories and dealers for high quality showroom vehicle presentation. As you should expect, WE USE AUTOGLYM VALETING PRODUCTSwe're fully trained in the professional application of the company's range of products.

We offer a loyalty scheme for those customers who use us on a regular basis for our mini 'wash and hoover' valeting whereby we also carry out a courtesy lights and levels check and every fifth valet is free of labour charge.

A courtesy 'wash and hoover' is carried out with all servicing and major repair work.

AIR CONDITIONINGAir Conditioning - Air conditioning or climate control systems have an assumed / acceptable degree of 'leakage' in the region of 20% per year. Once running at less than half capacity (measured by weight of refrigerant gas in grams) they will be running inefficiently and causing undue wear on components. When recharged, a lubricant oil is added to keep the rubber seals in good condition.

With modern cars the air conditioning is designed to run on a more or less permanent basis but even if not used regularly there will be deterioration of these seals in time which could then result in expensive repairs. It is therefore advised to evacuate and recharge the system at least every two years to keep it running at optimum performance. Inefficient air conditioning may increase fuel consumption.

Between evacuation and recharge intervals we recommend that an antibacterial agent be passed through the system. As well as sanitising the system it will also eliminate stale odours caused by bacteria.

We offer discounted air conditioning evacuation and recharging or anti bacterial treatment when it is carried out with routine vehicle servicing.

DIAGNOSTICSDiagnostic / Software - Gone are the days when you could lift the bonnet and carry out minor tweaks and adjustments using just a spanner and a test lamp! From 2000 to 2006 car technology increased significantly so that an array of modules, sensors and relays do this automatically. Since 2006 in particular it became essential to have vehicle specific fault finding, live data analysis and software equipment.

When fitting new parts to some modern vehicles it is necessary to deactivate a system before commencing repairs and then to reactivate / reprogram afterwards. Some service interval indicators also need diagnostic reprogramming.

We have invested in a range of diagnostic equipment for most makes and models and in particular for Volvo where we can also carry out software assistance. *

* Some minor exclusions apply to a few models or systems.
