SERVICES - WHAT WE OFFER

Our Equipment - Although we are an independent garage,
you will find that the range of diagnostic equipment we use is
of a similar specification to that more commonly found in a large
franchised 'main dealer'.
We
have invested heavily in equipping our workshops with a comprehensive
range of diagnostic software / equipment and specialist tools,
including many specific to Rover, Volvo, Volkswagen and Nissan
work. In effect, there's very little we can't undertake - which
ever make of vehicle you own!
Our
Staff - We mix up-to-date training with good old-fashioned
experience. Our team of technicians
have specialist training in many models along with a wealth of
knowledge accrued whilst working on the complete spectrum of manufacturers'
vehicles. Chris Wood himself has nearly 40 years experience in
the vehicle servicing trade and was previously employed by Volvo
as a specialist faultfinder.
Rest
assured that whatever you drive - from the tiniest hatchback to
a giant 4x4 - we have the expertise to keep it running in absolutely
tip-top condition.

Our
IT Systems - These are not only used for administration, but
form the core of our operation and enable us to deal with our
suppliers, communicate with our customers and run our whole business
in an efficient manner. We use our Unipart KiS Pro system for
up-to-date parts information and the latest ICME database to access
service schedules and recommended repair times, allowing us to
issue computerised job estimates and fully-itemised invoices.
We
have direct Internet access to many other suppliers too, enabling
us to check their stock levels and identify parts. We maintain
a complete service history of our customers' vehicles and can
provide automated reminders of pending MOT, servicing, timing
belt replacement and air conditioning evacuation / recharge dates.
Our
Guarantees - All new parts fitted are usually guaranteed for
12 months or 12,000 miles. Some parts, for example batteries,
have 2, 3 or in some cases even 4 year guarantees. Secondhand
parts, when fitted at the request of customers, are usually guaranteed
for 3 months or 3,000 miles - as agreed at time of fitting. We
also cover labour costs for these repairs when necessary
Our Practices - We deal with our customers as we would
wish to be dealt with ourselves.
Our
service is courteous, efficient and thorough, our premises are
clean, tidy and customer-friendly! We run several courtesy cars
for our customers and can provide a local pickup/delivery service
too.
Should
any problem remain unresolved, the free services of an independent
arbitration service are available through our Retail Motor Industry
Federation membership.
We
are registered with the Environment Agency and follow environmentally-friendly
practices for the safe disposal of waste-products such as oil,
used tyres, oil filters, antifreeze, batteries and brake fluid
in accordance with current health and environmental regulations.
And
finally, we pride ourselves in communication, endeavouring to
keep you informed at all times - before, during and after we carry
out work on your car.
